Learn how to make these super simple and fun chocolate coated peanut butter bites. These are super easy to make and are a great baking activity to get children involved in.
You will need:
2 ripe bananas
A couple bars of your favourite chocolate (Approx. 190g)
A small tub of our natural peanut butter
A baking tray lined with baking paper
Instructions:
Peel and slice your fresh bananas into 1cm rounds
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Assemble your banana 'sandwiches' on your baking tray by placing banana slices onto the tray, spread a dollop of our natural peanut butter (or any of our other nut butters) on top, then sandwich with another banana slice, easy peasy!
Place your banana 'sandwiches' into the freezer until they have hardened.
Melt chocolate of your choice down to a runny consistency, dip your hardened banana sandwiches into the chocolate and place them back onto the baking tray and into the freezer until the chocolate has set (no more than 15 minutes).
